The Wichita Farm & Ranch Show continues to grow. Now in it's 16th year with over 265 exhibiting companies and 410 plus booths displaying the newest in farm & ranch equipment and technology. Special features of the show include daily livestock squeeze chute demonstrations, livestock handling demos, educational seminars sponsored by KFRM Radio. Over 25,000 attendees visited, compared and purchased agricultural equipment and services at the latest show.

Special added features at the 2009 Show include a Kid's Pedal Pull Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm; daily squeeze chutes demos, attendee grand prize drawing, plus daily horsemanship clinics.

Livestock producers are encouraged to attend this show as it places a special emphasis on livestock equipment with live indoor squeeze chute demonstrations daily. Compare nine different manual and hydraulic chutes in operation working live cattle plus get the ability to operate the chutes in a true working environment.

Kids four years to twelve years are invited to the Wednesday evening pull at 6:00 pm. Come early to register and look over the tractors and pulling sleds of Bill VanDeCreek. Bill and his staff pull over seventy events each year so you know his equipment is the best. There will be awards for the first three places in each age group plus each puller will receive a special prize.

Our exhibitors not only display the latest agricultural technology and equipment in the industry, but also feature Kansas' only indoors squeeze chutes equipment demonstrations. These demos have become very popular with both our exhibitors and attendees alike. After watching the manufacture representatives work live cattle through their chutes, attendees will have the opportunity to go into the corral to speak with these representatives and work the chutes for themselves.

Rounding out the show’s schedule will be educational seminars featuring subjects of timely interest. Combined, all of this creates a professional atmosphere to attract the serious farmers and ranchers.

This is an excellent farm show site offering easy access from all directions with free admission and room for future growth. Local farmers and ranchers enjoy coming to the Kansas Coliseum grounds where parking is free along with plenty of parking sites.
